FAQ
How do I calculate a discount?
Sale price = original × (1 − percent off/100). Amount saved = original − sale price.
What is the formula?
Final price = original price × (1 − discount% / 100). Example: $100 − 20% = $100 × 0.80 = $80.
Can I use any currency?
Yes. Enter the original price in your currency. The result is in the same unit.
What about multiple discounts?
This tool applies one discount. For stacked discounts, apply the first, then use the result as the new original.
Does it show the amount saved?
Yes. The calculator shows both the final price and the amount saved (original − final).
